BIO
With an MA from UT-Austin and a Ph.D from CU-Boulder, I've taught writing and literature at CU, LSU, and UNO, and I currrently work as a senior technical writer in New Orleans. I've published children’s and scholarly books, literary criticism, book reviews and poetry in small magazines. I've hitchhiked through six countries, run two marathons, and once, due to a series of misadventures, spent six months as the chef at a French restaurant. I believe that happiness comes from simplicity of lifestyle and richness of human contact, not from purchasing power or leverage over others.
