Family and Friends.
Rachael and Uncle Ed at Gary's (2011) on our way to the WWII Museum. He landed twice at D-Day (Omaha Beach and Utah Beach), participating in two invasions and five major battles as a front-lines medic with the Army's 2nd Rangers. He was also a Golden Gloves boxing champion, a graduate of Delgado's chef school, and a member of the Screenwriters Guild with several radio plays aired in the 50s.

Rachael's picture of the Eiffel Tower (2007), during our trip through France and Spain: dodging pickpockets at Arc d'Triomphe, the sprawling castle of Carcassonne, potato omelets and paella in Barcelona. "I had a different cramp every time I woke up," Rachael said after our overnight train back to Paris. "Ah, it's grapefruit," I said to the waiter in Montmartre.
